How This Breeding Evolved and Homes We Are Seeking for These Puppies

Around 2016 we first noticed the strikingly handsome red markings of Teddy’s Father, Flame (Blackpowder's Blazing Red Flame), and then became even more impressed by his accomplishments. About this same time we also started following the careers of our girl Rosie’s nationally acclaimed grandfathers, Snapper (FC AFC Gunstock's Topshelf Snap Decision) and Rooster (4XGMPR GRHRCH Rooster Smasher), and we eventually brought Rosie home to Texas. It was not until we were admiring Teddy’s bold, “field general” type good looks and impressive accomplishments as a potential breeding partner for Rosie (around August 2022), that we realized that Teddy was the son Flame, the dog that originally inspired our search!

We believe that each of these puppies will be dynamic retrieving partners for professional waterfowl guides, serious hunters, competition enthusiasts, and active performance-dog-lovers.

We have also tried to pair two dogs that are well tested for both structural soundness, and good genetics.
